Recep Türk, born in Izmir in 1976, graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 1999. He started his professional life at Türkiye Halk Bankası A.Ş. and held various important positions there. Between 2000-2009, he served as Professional Officer, Inspector-Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Board. Between 2009-2011, he served as Deputy Regional Manager, between 2011-2012 as Commercial Branch Manager, and between 2012-2014 as Regional Manager. Continuing his professional life at T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş., Türk served as Department Head between 2015-2016, Regional Manager between 2016-2018, Head of Credit Risk Monitoring, Liquidation and Legal Group between 2020-2021, and Deputy General Manager of Credit Risk Monitoring and Liquidation at Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. between 2021-2023. He served as the General Manager and Board Member of İller Bankası A.Ş. between August 2023 and December 2025. Throughout his career, he has served as a member of the board of directors / audit committee in various national and international subsidiaries (Azerbaijan Ziraat Bank, Montenegro Ziraat Bank, Georgia Ziraat Bank, Kazakhstan Ziraat Bank, Ziraat Financial Leasing, Halk Hayat ve Emeklilik). Having served as a member of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Assembly between 2013 and 2017, Mr. Türk is a member of the DEİK Foreign Investments Business Council Executive Board. He currently works as a ministerial advisor at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Mr. Türk was appointed as Member of the Board of Directors at A&T Bank on February 17, 2026.
